From 1 Corinthians 10:15…
“By the grace of God, I am what I am, and his grace to me has not been ineffective.”

Hi, I’m Cecilia.
Basics of basics – I’m a single, Catholic young woman who 3 years ago took a leap of faith and followed the Lord’s voice down to Comayagua, Honduras. Three years later, and I am still here, and I have never regretted it or looked back.
I live to love, whoever I am with, wherever I find myself, and whenever that is. The Lord has been faithful to my obedience and has continued to bless me with amazing friends, ministries, and opportunities to seek His face.
I was very appropriately named after the patron saint of music, St. Cecilia virgin and martyr. Music is my forté, piano, guitar, ukelele, bass, percussion, and singing.. I love it all, and more than anything, I love to use it as my outward expression of the internal reality that is my life in Christ.
I like to keep things simple, and as I continue to grow in my love of God and neighbor, I find myself more and more attracted to simplicity. I mean, God asked us…commanded us – to LOVE. And that’s pretty simple, right?
“Much will be required of the person entrusted with much, and still more will be demanded of the person entrusted with more. (Luke 12:48).
I recogize that I have been blessed in abundance – but I also acknowledge that a lot of the things that weighed me down in life in my B.C. days was the fact that I was so self-centered and egoistic. Once I shifted focus, I realized that many of my “problems” and “burdens” were insignificant.
With all of these blessings, I know God expects much from me, and I pray every day that I will be able to faithfully carry out the work He has entrusted me.
Mary, star of the sea, pray for me.
